“My father Patrick was a runner.
He ran marathons. He ran his business. He ran to help anyone in Ga-Rankuwa who called.
But one day, while he was on a run..
just meters from Dr George Mukhari Hospital, his heart stopped...
He had a heart attack.
Help was 200 meters away. But it didn’t get to him in time. I lost my father that day.
Sitting at that hospital later, I kept thinking...
How does someone die in the shadow of a hospital?
The answer was the gap.
The gap between where emergencies happen at work, in the taxi rank, in the clinic queue and where care actually starts.
I started PatParamount Care to close that gap.
I named it after my dad and personally pledged R100,000 of my own money into it. Because I don’t want another son in Ga-Rankuwa to stand where I stood.
We will run mobile clinics.
We will build better health care systems.
We will deliver medical supplies in 48 hours, not 6 months.
We will catch people before they crash.
The heart in our logo is my father’s. The runner is him.
We run now so others don’t have to wait.
